6.2 - Peanut Butter n' Jam - Tzeech, Brian H., Kid Amiga +surprise headliner! - FREE
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Stuffed Soundsystem presents Peanut Butter n' Jam Brian H. (Mayavada/Konvocation/Peripheral Fission) Farewell set! Kid Amiga (Stuffed Soundsystem/Peripheral Fission/SSS) Last party in b'more! Tzeech (T.W.O./Family Productions) Technoe-y goodness! +SUPER SECRET SURPRISE HEADLINER! (and a few more djs TBA) Live Art + Work from Local Artists + PBJ sammiches! Saturday June 2nd 2007 5pm-11pm All Ages BYOB FREE VIRGIN VENUE Graciously hosted by the 2640 co-op space in Baltimore, MD. Located at 2640 St. Paul St. Baltimore, MD 21218 (At the intersection of 27th & St. Paul). More info about the space can be found over at: http://www.redemmas.org/2640 THE DEALIO Alrighty, I can't even begin to tell you how excited i am for this. I think you should be too. The space is absolutely unique and this party will be that as well. So get this, like a PBJ sand- wich, we've taken tasty elements (art, sound, folks) and comb- ined them to create an even tastier output. We will have live art in the form of painting, and works from local artists as well. Also, we will try something unique, think of the early part of the night as an indoor picnic. You can bring folding chairs, a blanket, a cooler, some snack foods. That kinda stuff, we'll even provide some PBJ sammiches to getcha in the mood. DJS Okay, I tried to score an interesting lineup of rare finds. First off, we've got Brian H. playing his signature wildstyle of psytrance. This will be the last time you can catch the Brian, as he's getting ready to move down to sunny Florida, be sure to wish him off. Next i'm proud to say we've got Tzeech bring- ing his super techno to the city again. I can't tell you how hard it would be to find this kinda stuff in this area, hopefully this will make more techno popup in the city! And you've got me, playing my little hodge-podge of house, but that's not the neatest thing, no sir. I have a few more names to name, and ONE SUPER SURPRISE HEADLINER that i'm STOKED to have onboard, but cannot say, be- cause, well its a suprise! I'm sure you'll love it though. VENUE This is being held at an art/event-space in Baltimore, in the old chapel of a church. This cooperatively run space has been used to hold alternatively minded events and been essential to grassroots labor groups in the area. Whilst the party is free, I do reccomend you make a donation to help out the folks with renovations and soundproofing. The early hours are due in part to this and as well with helping the space keep a good relationship with the community. AFTERPARTIES Whilst there's no official afterparty, there are two bangin' parties happening in the city super close to the venue itself. Feelgood is at KASBAH in Canton, and the give folks are having a Transit night at RUSH at the legendary 1722 on Charles St. There will be as well a place to sign-up to get on the reduced list for Rush just in case you decide to carry on the goodtimes over that neck of the woods. -&rew ![]()

It reminds me of a venue in South Augusta, Georgia. It was an old (very large) Roman Catholic (i think) church. It was no longer in use, so the partiers took it over.
Come to think of it, South Augusta has the most unusual venues I've ever seen. There were many very strange venues there. There was even a huge closed down mall that was used to throw a rave in. There was also a rave on a train that had been sitting there on a track in the woods for years and years. Anyway, I went on a tangent. Good luck with this! |

Rave in a church. Very cool.
Sadly, my damn end-of-year faculty party type thing is going on that day!

That sounds awesome. I try to do the same, just
find places that are special or unique. It adds to the experience mos-definetly. Congrats by the way! Sorry I couldn't make it, but I planned the party a bit ago. Y'all newlyweds should come out! -&rew Quote:
