A message from Scott Henry RE: The Buzz Tent
Buzzlife Productions will NOT be hosting a Buzz Tent at the 2006 HFStival. Although originally contracted by WHFS to produce and host a tent due to its consistent success in previous years, WHFS elected to cancel because of poor advance ticket sales.

WHFS / Infinity Broadcasting has continued to advertise that there will be a Buzz Tent, but don’t believe the hype. Buzzlife will NOT be in attendance and there will NOT be a dance tent.

This announcement should have been made a long time ago but our hands were tied.

IMHO - WHFS should have announced this when they made their "final decision"

I would advise legal action. This will reflect poorly on Buzzlife, and hurt their image to their patrons. Plus, how much work/time did you all devote to this so far? Plus, lost wages, etc... I'm not familiar with the contract of course, but I wouldn't stand for this.

Boo HFS for being shitty !!! Maybe if they did have a Buzztent with the lineup that Amanda had posted their ticket sales wouldn't have been so poor.

I'm still going for the rock and rap acts, but this definatly leaves a taste of rotten ass.

XM - if you're out there listening, you should have a DC area event that blows the HFStival out of the water !!!

From the sound of it, WHFS / Infinity Broadcasting is involved in false advertising and the FTC can get involved. Buzzlife itself might not have to take any action if upset ticket holders informed the FTC of this.
