ok, so i admit i am a HUGE loser and i rather enjoy this show...

so who do you think is going to win???
i personally really like taylor hicks, he has personality, but i dont think he can sing as well as most of the others...so chances are he won't win...lately ive been impressed by elliot yasmin...

but yeah, kellie pickler has GOT to go, i mean does she even realize that she is the perfect embodiment of the dumb blonde??? its only gonna get u so far...


so for right now im favoring elliot to win altho id really like to see taylor take it

i cannot stand this show.

altho i must say, i was forced to watch it a couple of weeks ago, and i was impressed with the bald rocker guy and the girl with the junk in the trunk.

edit: their names are chris daughtry and katharine mcphee. and that guy taylor is quite possibly the single douchiest person i have ever seen on tv.

Well, first and foremost, I think this is the most disappointing season of Idol to date. It completely lacks energy and character, with the exception of Taylor. Paula's looking her worst, mentally, and last night was a prime example. Get ahold of yourself *shakes imaginary Paula*

My thoughts on the contestants:

Kelly - her pitchy twang is no match for Carrie Underwood. Simon's swallowing his words to her from earlier in the season.

Kat McPhee - amazing voice. Gorgeous. And knows it. I wouldn't be surprised if she made it to the top 2.

Paris - well-rounded and consistent but not enough star quality to satisfy the pre-teen audience. I think she'll be voted out soon.

Taylor - amazing personality, seems the most passionate musically. Not really feeling his voice anymore, though. It oozes soul but not much depth. People love him, though and I wouldn't mind seeing him reach the top 3

Chris Daughtry - clearly a talented singer. Gets through each and every one of his songs with complete ease. However, he's not very versatile and last week (when he sang Louis Armstrong) was the only time I've heard another side to him. He has the voice for the competition but I don't think he fits the mold for an American Idol.

Elliott - my favorite and has been for awhile. I don't see him making it to the top, though. He seems to have so much more personality when he's offstage, doing interviews and chatting it up with Ryan or the celebrity guests. I feel like he loses a lot of that when he starts singing, concentrating more on the technical stuff and less on feeling it. I really hope he steps up his game in the next few weeks, when it's the most crucial.



And with that post, *I* am the biggest loser.
