DJ FRICTION [ Valve | Shogun Audio ] - UK **ON 3 DECKS FOR 2 HOURS**

At the age of 27, Brighton raised Friction is without a doubt one of the most talented DJ-Producers to make a significant impact in Drum & Bass in recent years. With more heads hearing of his skills and tracks like the massive 'Robocop' and 'Electrolux' smashing dance-floors worldwide 2003 saw Friction win Knowledge magazines 'Best Breakthrough' award. Things were rounded off with a link up to Dillinja and Lemon D's Valve Recordings and the launch of his own label 'Shogun Audio'. He is now regarded as one of the scenes front running DJ's alongside names like Andy C, Zinc, Hype and Mampi Swift and also regularly demonstrates his skills to a global audience via BBC 1Xtra on his fortnightly 'Mix Show'. Last year saw Friction hit success in the CD market with the massive 'Bingo Sessions Vol.1' CD mixed alongside DJ Zinc which actually graced the UK album charts. In the 2004 DJ Magazine world DJ poll he was the 4th highest ranked drum & bass DJ coming in at 107th. This was followed up with another 4th place position in the 'Accelerated Culture' awards as well as taking home the 'Best Newcomer' title at the same event. The UK's hottest, freshest drum & bass DJ talent is undoubtedly Friction and its time to take things to the next level.



NOISIA [ Renegade Hardware | Subtitles ] - NL **5DNB DEBUT**

Noisia (the word VISION rotated 180 degrees) consists of three guys; Nik Roos(21), Martijn van Sonderen(20) and Thijs de Vlieger(22) from Groningen (holland). Right now noisia have got releases out and forthcoming on well-known labels such as Teebee's Subtitles and Rob Playford's Moving Shadow (who have also licensed two noisia tunes to Rockstar's Midnight Club 3), And they've collaborated with well-known dnb artists Cause 4 Concern, Calyx, Teebee, Black Sun Empire and Bad Company UK. Also, Renegade Hardware are releasing a Noisia remix of the well known "Messiah" by the infamous duo Konflict on the Renegade Hardware Guerilla warfare LP. DJ support Noisia and Drifter tunes include Ed Rush, Andy C, DJ Hype, Teebee, Goldie, BC UK, Dieselboy, Friction amongst others. As DJ's Noisia have touched down in every major dutch city and in Moscow, Budapest, Paris, London and USA, amongst others. Also july 2004 saw the first Noisia USA/Canada tour.


ILLEFFECT [ EXBC | D-FECT ] - DC

Cutting and scratching his way into countless venues across the eastcoast, DJ IllEffect effectively draws from a hiphop-influenced background all while remaining true to DNB culture. Showing a wide appreciation of flavors, this Syndrome Industries co-founder commands constant crowd attention. Currently, IllEffect holds it down Fridays along with his cohost, DJ Shade, on EXBC via Destroyer.net feat. nothing but the best DNB, hiphop, and UK Garage DJs from the Balt/DC/VA area.


BOBBY JAE [ Upfront | 5DNB ] - DC

Mastering the sultry, sexy sounds of DC drum and bass, Bobby Jae never fails with his impeccable mixing and top-notch selection. Be sure to check out Bobby Jae's new highly anticipated mix, Upfront Drum n' Bass.
