Maybe I'm the only one here, but I like Baron's tunes. I think a good bit of other people may too. This guy sells a good bit of units, record wise. A Baron record is good to do at least 2000 units. In drum n bass this is good really. Although it's nice to see a change up in his style.

The problem I've always had with Baron is that his tracks don't seem adventurous or creative at all. I have a few of his tunes, but none of them ever stand out. This one is the same, albeit in a different style. But compare this to something like Marcus Intallex or Cyantific, and there's a significant difference in the vibe of the tune. At the Drive In is a little better, but still, doesn't sound like more than filler to me.

Wow...looks like I am going to have to stop looking past Baron's releases. There was a time (in the not too distant past if I'm not mistaken) when he was virtually a spokesperson for the kind of D&B that I can not stand (not hating on the wobble...just too fucking old for it).

Interested to see if he winds up collaberating with others who already produce within this sub-genre of D&B. Wuold love to see him produce a track with someone like a Marcus Intelex or a D Kay perhaps...
