11/10 :: Sinister Presents Melting Pot Radio w/ Dopamine

11/10/07 Sinister Recordings Presents Melting Pot Radio

Hosted by Badlands, Introspective, and Sam Hell

Live from 9-11pm UK Time, and live only on www.nuskoolbreaks.co.uk

    Running fortnightly every other Saturday

This week's show: Badlands, and special guest Dopamine

    Dopamine

Dopamine literally exploded onto the scene with his debut release “Hold You” which took out best single at the 2006 International Breakspoll Awards at Fabric in London. With three more nominations for Breakthrough Producer, Best Remix and Best Producer he’s certainly made an impact in two short years on the scene. One reviewer recently said “every speaker Dopamine touches turns to gold”. These accolades have led to his music being used on CSI Miami and exclusive production for the Sony Playstation game, Wipeout Pulse.

Dopamine is not just all about breaks though. With a string of house, minimal and tech releases set to do damage on dance floors worldwide, Dopamine is showing that diversity is one of his main assets. His collaborations with Klaus Heavyweight Hill, Chris Carter, Madox and much more in the pipeline are showing his ability to write with well established artists in a number of genres with the confidence of a seasoned veteran.

Dopamine is the pleasure centre of the brain so if you haven’t had some Dopamine in your life, then it might be time to inject some.

    Badlands

They met at College, drawn together through stunningly similar tastes in music. A few hazy nights saw them inspired enough to book into a studio, the nights were too hazy to remember the inspiration and then life took over and they parted company for a while…

8 years later they suddenly remembered their inspiration and got together in the studio once again. This time it was completely different as they discovered a remarkable rapport together. The studio sessions have now come to fruition with their debut single out on Sinister on 6th August and more to follow soon after. Early support already emerging from the likes of James Zabiela, Crystal Method, Elite Force, Simply Jeff, Lisa Lashes, General Midi, NAPT, Aquasky, Dreadzone, Far Too Loud, Unique 3, Smithmonger, Groove Diggerz, , Ben & Lex, Ollspin, Kickflip, Transformer Man, Phantom Beats, Hexadecimal, , Mutiny, Flore, Ed 2000, Cut La Roc, Tony Tay (Zouk, Singapore)...
