    Beatport Questions

I just revamped my comp. I noticed when I was trasfering my files back from my external that I lost a good deal of tracks, really just from a two week span or so. They were all from beatport and i know they have all the tracks you've d/l in your library. Does anyone know how much it would cost to get those back, they have the redownload option but I'm not sure how that works. Any help would be stellar.

generally the redownload option is only available to you w/in 48 hours to assist if a download doesn't complete properly...

I think after that, most, if not all, digital download sites charge you full price to repurchase the tracks...

No, just E-mail them and tell them what happened. They (at least used to be) very customer service friendly. I lost a lot of tracks a few years back and I told them what they were and they made them available for me to download again.

I have had similar results with their customer service with this issue.

No it was like $60. It worked fine like 2 days later but I didn't get to play the songs at the gig I was buying them for. It's no biggie but it did frustrate me they never emailed me back and they have no customer service phone number. The beatport forum is quite handy though.

    w0rd...

I asked cause I know they have (or had) some sort of odd credit card limit where it would decline you if your order was over $200... problem is that it didn't really let you know... I learned this the hard way once... had to call in a favor to find out what was up...
