9-15: PULSE w/Jimmy Edgar (Warp), David Last (W+L, Goosehound...) and JXN Black

More details and flyer to come in a bit but...

Jimmy Edgar - Warp's golden boy will be throwing down a 3 hour set
David Last - Unfoundsound, Wolf + Lamb, Staubgold and Goosehound will be bringing the minimal teched out funk
    and
JXN Black - A recent minimal-producing transplant from Shanghai will be kicking the evening off.

This is a huge, huge line-up for us. Let's get intimate - dirty - nasty at BeBar...on the dance floor.

Drink specials on Peroni and Vodka all night long + Free entry with an e-mail to: info@eightyeightdc.com = the most affordable night of solid, tweaked out beats and vibe in the City.

    Let's do it.

Where: BeBar 1318 9th St., NW
    When: 10 - 3am
    Cost: $5 or guest list.

David Last played the most recent Dubwar in NYC. Serious selection. SERIOUS.

    Thanks for recognizing :)

We don't dictate, beyond 'rock the dance floor' for 2 hours.

I don't think Jimmy's played DC before. He's pretty amped as are a bunch of drooling women.

Drooling women... At bebar?? ok i'm in. I'm long over due to check out this night. So long as they keep the dancefloor moving and it's not too minimal, I'll be loving it.

Yeah, while the ladies love Bebar...no sleazy jerks rubbing up on them. Nice amounts of space to get down and good guys to do it with. Sat will not be an overly minimal night :)

No shortage of lovely ladies at BeBar! Like David said, it's not a place where the guidos come to play grab-ass on the girls! It's rare that it's not 50/50 guys/girls on the dancefloor. Now if you're hoping to stand around the bar all night, that's a different story!

Come to dance and you won't be disappointed!

I think people who are leery of minimal techno have the wrong idea about it. Last month, the music was slammin'!!! The added speakers make for a nice time, too! Come on out and get a taste of what you've been missing! And if you've already been, then we'll be seeing you soon!

    WORD!!!

Just curious as I've seen his live set and him playing an after party dropping acid house.

And good job with Ryan Elliot, one of Detroit's best djs nowadays.

DC's going crazy with music this weekend!!! Glad that techno's representing here!

It's nice seeing in the suggestions for the new run of Buzz at Fur, a couple of people saying "do what 88 is doing!"
