I need venue suggestions in Wash DC, for a CD Release party w/ singer on a mic!

Alright,

I know the subject was a bit vague, and it might not belong in here... but who knows.

Basically a Singer/Producer friend of mine had a cd printed up and would like to have a cd release party for it.

His name is Symbol and he's like a mix of Prince meets David Bowie meets Peaches meets Andre 3000 (yeah on that Androgenous Shit :lick: ) . Electronic, Trip Hop, R+B, Abstract type sheeez.

He will just be performing on a Microphone with maybe some backup assistant women. Like a 30-40 min set having DJ's before and after to keep the party rolling.

He doesnt care if he performs on the ground, but We are just looking for a place in DC that is free to use and we can throw a party there. Hell the place doesnt even have to have a PA system, we can bring that.

So basically these are the only qualifications...

-Free to Use and throw a Party/DJ Event with live performer
-Have a Bar
-Enough Space to have a DJ setup and someone singing and a few dancers
-We don't have to get paid
- Be in a semi-decent area in DC

LET ME KNOW! I know this is an odd post, but I gotta try it somewhere, he is struggling.
