SABURUKO (Horizons Music Group | Future Thinkin)

One duo that is slowly but surely set to make their mark on the DnB scene worldwide is known as SABURUKO. Representing Brooklyn, NY, by way of the UK, Russell Knight (aka J Funk) and Edward Parker (aka Edward Oberon) are currently signed exclusively to the Horizons Music Group. Having recieved multiple airplays on Radio 1 and 1xtra and with the support of the biggest names in Drum and Bass such as Fabio & Grooverider, Doc Scott, DJ Lee, Marcus Intalex, LTJ Bukem, Nookie, DJ Flight, Digital, Amit, D- Bridge, Artificial Intelligence and Outrage it's no wonder these guys are being tipped for huge things in 2007. From the digital fury that is “Latency” to some funkier liquid tracks like “Stellar”. The ear they have for melody, mood and atmosphere is not seen in one set group and the fruits of their labour will be heard in their lead off release on Progress, the Boro Park EP. PISH POSH (Burner Brothers, Mic Wreck)

Dj Wally was born Keef DeStefano in New York City in 1972. His father, a musician, could never have imagined what he was starting as he exposed young Keef to a huge variety of musical styles and sounds . Wally was obsessed with Hip Hop in the early eighties, and he began spinning records in 1985, collecting wax & equipment the way most of the other kids collected baseball cards. Fast forward to the 21st Century, and you find Dj Wally one of the leading lights in the avant-garde abstract beatz scene that originally rose from the New York underground. Wallys discography is prolific and tells the tale of a Producer who is diverse yet finely tuned; experimental but right on the beat; dark with a keen sense of humor. Wally has worked with many independent labels and he has helped to put them on the map. From Mo Wax to Rawkus, Sub Rosa, Ubiquity, Thirsty Ear and Many more. As of late you can find Wally's tracks playing on many cable networks worldwide, such as Comedy Central,Fuel tv, Fox and Discovery Channel. Wally is also one third of the indie hip hop group Proximity Minds.


RAW Q (Rawqaudio.com | Bingo Beats | Grid Recordings | Direct Drive | UK/NYC)

Raw Q is long time NYC Dj/producer with tracks released on prestigious labels such as Zinc's Bingo Recordings and Grid Recordings. His tracks have earned support from DnB's most respected djs and artists such as: Zinc, Roni Size, Flight, Randall, Fabio, Bryan Gee, Bailey, Krust, Marky, Marcus Intalex, L Double and many more. His track 'Vital Soul' has taken the dnb world by storm since it's first appearance on dubplate back in Dec'03 and managed to reach 11th place in the BBC's Global Dance Charts (jul.11.04) which encompasses all genres of dancemusic. In May 2006, Grid Recordings released his track "Jagged Edge" on the EP Liquid Allsorts Vol.2. His most recent release was entitled 'Funkdefied' in Bingo Recordings.


DATCYDE (Direct Drive | Taciturn)

This internationally recognized Dj and resident at Direct Drive has released records on Sony/Epic, Jungle Sky, Ultra Records, Caffeine, BreakBeatScience, Taciturn Records and Brooklyn Music Ltd. He has played top venues and clubs all over the world from Brazil to Amsterdam, as well as all over America. Datcyde has played along side all the major names in D+B such as Roni Size, Jumping Jack Frost, Bryan G, Mickey Finn, Grooverider, Bad Company, DJ Rap, Dara, DJ Hype, Aphrodite, Freaky Flow and many more. Currently, Datcyde is working on a second full-length album for Taciturn Records. This project will combine original material with DVD video and 5.1 surround technology giving the listener and experience unmatched by other commercial releases. This project entitled simply, Theory, will be released simultaneously in Canada and the US.
