    who's next for 2007?

I recently started a thread for local dj of the year. Here's the next question......

Who is the next local dj that's destined to blow up in 2007?

It could be an unknown....it could be someone we know. Plain and simple...WHO'S NEXT?

    My choice....LOGO.

    Why?
    1. His mixing is always on.

    2. I'm not really a fan of breaks, but i like what i hear when i hear him play.

    and....

    3. He just has "it". I cant really define what "it" is, but i know "it" when i see it.

    thoughts and comments please.

another thing: in addition to having the technical knowladge of music and the equiptment he also knows how to "read" people and has beats for just about anyone, even your grandma. That's an important thing to have because people such as myself select tunes that appeal to a rather narrow audience and as such might not get the exposure of someone that can play all types of stuff.

that, and he's easy to talk to. some people are just awkward, he is not. affibility is also something you want in a dj.

Adam Abouraya gets my vote. Dude was on fire last I saw him. He's also really ripping it on the production tip with George Horn.

Been seriously digging on Themba's music too but I am not sure of any other venues he's been playing other than his Friday night party. He has tons of potential tho and plays some of the nastiest shit out there.
