    [FREQdisturbance | Flatline Audio | X-Ray Recordings | Riset]

    BIO:

Custom Soldierz, DJs & producers that link the Westside (Mayaguez) and the Southside (Penuelas) was originally formed by KS3 (Juan C. Melendez) and Screwbo1t (Edgar A. Ramirez), early in 2003. After meeting via-internet and exchanging music they joined forces to make the first track titled Oxygen. It was a hit on FREQ-Disturbance (www.freqdisturbance.com) and it had a very positive review. Custom Soldierz kept working hard and later, in May of 2004 Scranchee (Cristian R. Colon) settled in, who at the moment was dj'ing around different parts of the island. Once re-established, now as a group of 3 members, it took some time to identify with a leading line of production style to produce drum n bass with a very unique fusion.

KS3 and Scranchee quickly identified themselves because they had a common interest for music since very early of age. They also came from a family with musical interests and they were able to learn the basics of some instruments like Piano, Trumpet, Clarinet, among others. These details made it easier to develop complicated composition techniques at the moment of producing a track. In the other hand, Screwbo1t didn't have previous experience with music but he quickly adapted some techniques and successfully achieved the application of his ideas.

They form part of the WORLDWIDE crew Of FREQdisturbance [UK]. According to FD member words "they are active members, which are quite unusual”, Panzer Kunst. Now in 2006, after lots of hard work and dedication, they finally got their first track release on X-Ray Recs. In the compilation titled "Metropologix" mixed by Carbone. They also became official artists of the labels Flatline Audio [US] and Darkitek Music [PR]. Custom Soldierz have many projects under development, so stay in touch and be on the lookout for forthcoming releases.
