I'd really like some feedback on this. Mr. Wickity was kind enough to host my mix for me, so now people can listen.
It's short I know, but still...

Anyone listen to this? Any feedback? It would be greatly appreciated.
I'll give this a listen tonight, wicki wicki :)
Track listing looks good but you gotta come with a few more tunes next time.
Keep practicing, you'll be throwing down 20 tunes in :45 minutes before you know it.

I like letting the song do it's thing. I'm not one for quick swaps just because. I think that I let them run a little out of control ni this one, but not so terrible.
Is it just "the thing" to be able to have a bunch of tracks in a short amount of time, or is there a real reason why people do it that way?
I personally like to try and showcase as many tracks as I can without making things sound too rushed. Some quick mixing can definitely be obnoxious but when DJs know their records and what melodies work togehter etc. it can be a thing of beauty. I generally like to be "in the mix" as much as possible. Whether that's teasing, double dropping, or a quick switch-up it all makes things a bit more interesting for me personally when I'm behind the decks.Originally Posted by Fission Ships
