I've seen both in action... and I gotta say... Rane's product sounds better and, I feel, has some additional features which are handy...
If I ultimately purchase a product like this, I will be buying Serato

Alot of clubs are adopting the new final stratch 2.0, as far as I can tell they have fixed most of the things from 1.5, i would go with final scratch, its pretty cool tho...

it's got a couple of techinical perks over final scratch as well.....unfourtunatly i can't remember any of them off of the top of my head.
i'll get back to you about those later.
but i have definitly never had a problem with my copy of serato.

I havn't used the Serato yet, but in general I have attitude towards stanton for making other shitty equipment for me to waste money on in my early spinning days.
so I would go with Rane.

Whatever you do stay away from final scratch 1.5, I had it for a few weeks and it sucks.
I understand they fixed most of these problems in version 2.0, so I cant say anything about that one.

I have a close friend who has owned both versions of Stanton's Final Scratch, and now uses Rane's Serato.
He is 1000 times happier with the Rane product.

Hey Dale did you ever get either of these? I think at the beginning of the year I am going to pick up one or the other, how has the battle faired so far between these two, has one outshined the other yet?

How did I know you were going to give your 2 cents on this shit, but yeah, I would go with rane. I mean stanton was the first to come out with this technology but rane is such a better brand.
