2) promoters get bitched at all the time about all sorts of things, including price. buzzlife gets complaints too, you know.

actually... This is one case where I would disagree...

why? because in this case, you'd have to argue the very nature of the performance as not being somehow sexist and lame to consider the cover charge that way... the fact of the matter is that this event is going to be more attractive to men then women... granted these are men who have either never seen images of the (wo)man or just have no taste ;p... but still... in some way by offering women more incentive (re: cheaper cover) it evens the playing field...

granted, I have no desire in paying $2 to see Portia Surreal... let alone $25... but I wouldn't dismiss the cover as being sexist and lame...
