ok so there's somebody who needs a dj for the renewal of their vows or some crap, and i've been asked if i want to do it.... and, of course, needing the money, this sounds like a good idea. now i know at least a couple people on here have experience with the mobile dj world, so i'm basically just wondering what a fair price would be to charge for the service, plus equipment rental. (i'll be bringing my own sound system in, my own mixer, and i may end up renting some cdjs or something from guitar center so i can play all the cds that these people need). i'm not exactly sure how long the thing's gonna be, i'm thinking maybe 2-4 hours sounds likely. the price that i came up with off the top of my head was 300 dollars... but that really was based around what my bar pays their dj on friday nights.
