Baltimore scenes?

I've been trying to find something other than the usual Sonar and such, even though i do like their 80's night. I would like to know if there are any techno, trance, or rave clubs around within hopefully half an hour from baltimore that are easy to get to. I have only had bad experiences when personally driving in DC, so i'm trying to find something closer to me.

The worst time i got lost in DC, i ended up somewhere south of the capital at a Subway where the clerk invited me to his house so he could serve me his personal 'foot-long' (though it was definetly not put as eloquently).

be on the lookout for the underground fun of the Stuffed Soundsystem/ Mellifluid parties! those are always fun!

As for regular parties in Baltimore- good things come n go. You might wanna check out the Baltimore Scene Brainstorming thread ...

If you dont mind takin a hike down to Fairfax, VA (only about 1 to 1.5 hours from Baltimore) you should check out Transit on Wednesdays! Those parties are always fun- great atmosphere, stellar DJ's, and good people! I always have fun there.

I think there is alot of individual parties thrown in baltimore that are really bringin the phatty beats and vibes.
Thursday nights at Spy Club (Dan Gee and John Ask are wicked)
Thursdays at the depo are bangin too
Friday nights at Galaxy are picking up. Gonna be wicked shit coming soon.
Wed. nights the Exit party is wicked at sonar, phattest vibe at sonar these days in my opinion.
Sundays at the Sky lounge for delivery, 2 charming crew runs it, if you haven't checked them out your missing something. Goodlove and Shorty's do thier thing as well. Just a few, I'm sure there is plenty more I've forgotten that bring the real shit. But just a few to get you started.

thanks to everyone :> i've been looking around, and i can't find contact info for a couple of those places, like stuffed soundsystem, mellifluid, paradox club, spy club, and galaxy. i have contact info or an address for everything else.

the snow's keeping me in for a few days anyways, plus i just ordered a tablet, so i'll be drawing a lot more when that time comes. :>

clubzone.com has a lot of actual venue information on it.. addresses & websites, etc. Charm City Raves & BmoreSB are yahoo groups that a lot of these parties get listed on.
