DJ Paul Garza :: Paul Garza began DJing trance and hip-hop in early 2001. Around this time Paul and Tony Zerega began a promotion company called, Integrated Philosophies of DC(ipndc). IPNDC held the 4play parties in Charlestown, WV. 4play was a great experience builder for Paul who was just learning how to get a crowd moving. Soon after came FLiRT, a weekly party held @ X-hale nightclub in Frederick,MD. Paul also began spinning a weekly hip-hop set @ X-hale on Sundays, called X-lounge. Attendence @ the X-lounge parties were often over 800 people. Around Sept of 2002 X-hale and IPNDC came to an end! In the of winter of 2003 Paul was beginning to move into the direction of Hard-Dance. In early 2004 the party Next Level was held in Frederick, MD. This was a Hard-Dance only party, one of the first held in the DC area. Then in Spring 2004 Paul started the open deck party called Jaded. Over 50 DJ's from the PA., DC, Baltimore, Virginia, and West Virginia played @ Jaded. At this time Paul stopped spinning Hard-Dance and began spinning TECHNO! Paul has found his groove and is bringin it to you! Remember when it was about the dancing!

Donny :: This electronic music love affair began in the early nineties for Donny. Milwaukee is the city where he was introduced to some of the best Techno artistry at that time. In 94', relocation out west to San Diego brought on a whole new party experience. Vast club scene environments set the stage for some of the best parties America had to offer including desert massives along with old theaters and warehouses in downtown L.A. Techno artists would continue to inspire and rock the house not only occasionally in Milwaukee, but more often in countries around the globe. Just when the scene proved to create a nationwide synergy on the dance floor, a deeper calling followed. It wouldn't be the first climax of club culture and dance music in the U.S. but seemed to be the last. It was 1999 and another move was eminent, only this time it would be overseas. The European dance scene far exceeded expectation. Spain welcomed Techno like nothing seen before. There, clubs and parties host the masters of the international Techno scene. This exposure naturally led to the transition from the dance floor speakers to stepping behind the decks. With over five years of music exposure in Europe, living in Spain introduced Techno on a global level which carried him to heightened levels of awareness both mentally and musically. Europe is a second home and proves to behold the last true underground of electronic dance music. With a taste for all styles of Techno, who knows where his sets will take you.

Must be 18+ to enter and dance.

Hmmm Glyphix name isn't Donny lol. Donny is Donny although I don't know what his dj name is. Should be Paul Garza (Techno) vs. Donny (Techno).

I fixed it. There was some confusion on who was doing what and with whom. Too much going on makes for a Jenni.

I keep trying to change the posted title, but it wont let me.

It's DJ Paul Garza .vs. Donny, people!

Having a cold, dealing with a baby, and also starting a new job tends to make one a little loopy. Being sick sucks and I need all the :help: I can get.

And it should be a total kick ass night!

STATUS is really looking forward to Friday night. Matti Folks and myself will be doing some personal tag teaming in the baby daughter department [ switching back and forth a couple of times, to watch her @ home ].

We'll be starting to take donations to keep STATUS alive and well. We just got some new kick ass speakers that will blow everyone away! ..and well, donations will help the residents/Full Circle Crew pay for them. So if you're there, be looking for the donation hat coming around!

Also, starting in February "The Hut" will be hosting a Drum'n'Bass & Breaks party called PURE - which is being thrown by the resident D'n'B DJ, your's truely, ME! So keep a look out for that too.

..and yes, I do enjoy pimping out the parties like they're my hos. :blingbling:

I really hate feeling like I'm talking to myself, just to keep this post on top of things. :ranton:

Right on! I don't have enough vinyl/CDs to do the entire opening set.
