Jeremy Feder AKA DJ Psycle, has been involved with the
local Washington DC scene in one form or another for
the last two years now. He has spun at parties such as
Sunday Night Sessions, DC’s longest running jungle
weekly party, and Buzz @ Nation, voted #1 club night
in the USA by URB magazine in 2001. In March of 2001,
Jeremy co-founded the electronic music empowered
non-profit organization, Equilibrium DC (EQDC) with
Matt ‘Prophecy Projekt’ Fall. Fully believing in the
power of music to enrich the human spirit, EQDC is
currently working on putting together a program that
will use music as a healing technique for the
physically or mentally disabled. He has also written
published articles on studio skills and tips for the
Toronto-based, North American jungle mag Rinse
Magazine.
His style is on the dark funk, soulful roller tip and
he has an affinity for anything that includes an
organic element to it such as vocals, acoustic
instruments or orchestral elements. Influences include
Dylan, 1.8.7, Moving Fusion, Datcyde, Marcus Intalex &
ST Files, Marky, and JB. Non-dnb influences include
James Brown, Cannonball Adderley, Tricky, People Under
The Stairs, and Underworld.
