    Trip Hop Vinyl...

Where would one find some good Trip Hop on vinyl?

Ebay's selection pretty much sucks, and nearly all of it is coming from the UK....

Anyone know where to find some good stuff, without having to get molested by the shipping charges?

I've checked out www.beatmuseum.com and while they have some selection to play with, most of the stuff you have to reqest the sound clips! Which makes me sad!

ninjatune.co.uk has all of their releases, a lot of them would be considered trip-hop i suppose.

see i told you, and we aren't even out of July yet.

actually trip hop is one of the few genres that I haven't listened to much at all.
but, whatever I heard in the past I obviously didn't like too much.

are there any DJs I may have heard of that spin trip hop?

Not much in the way of love for Trip Hop out this way, but I can recommend some good artists:

    Tricky (especially Maxinquaye)
    Portishead
    Hooverphonic
    Sneaker Pimps
    Morcheeba
    Lamb
    Kruder and Dorfmeister
    Moloko
    Massive Attack
    Thievery Corporation
    Nightmares on Wax

That'll get you started..there's plenty more...

ok, yea, it's coming back now.
    I def don't like it.
I never had any interest in Tricky.
Portishead = ok (to me , of course)
sneaker pimps had the one good song
K & D - I never understood what ppl liked about these guys

yea, trip hop just isn't my cup of tea.

    good luck in your search.
I'll let you know if I come across any place that might have what you need!

    I won't.
as a matter of fact, Now I kind of want to find a trip hop DJ
or producer that I do like.
I find that pretty much in all genres of music (country music
excluded of course) there are some artists that are really good,
and whom I like even tho I don't particularly enjoy the genre of
    music they play in general.
