funny, Bastard Jazz Crew are friends of mine + according to aaron (aka drm + member of spooky monkey) no one ever plays drifter. everyone seems to like the breaks tracks on there (doubled up ep) instead. I guess because so much of the downtempo scene has shifted towards midtempo funk breaks ala for knox five + the like...heck i even play more breaks between 100 + 120 bpm than i do true downtempo, but I digress. Drifter is dope + fit right in at the slowmo pace I was working on for this mix (86 bpm).
