THE PRODIGY IS BACK, NEW TRACK: "GIRLS"

And I have the new single, GIRLS on mp3. To me, this is a bit of a disappointment. Its like this old-school b-boy/electroclash tune. I expected Liam to break new ground but instead he went old-school, with subpar beats and annoying samples. Electro people will prob eat this up though. But really not the "bomb" that Liam promised he would drop on us. Also I heard snippets of the new track, Memphis Bells. It sounds exactly like a Timbaland beat, mixed with Britney Spear's Toxic. This is not the Prodigy I waited 8 years for :( I will say though, that I respect Liam. This is definitely NOT a radio tune, and he's definitely doing what he wants to be doing. Just not feelin' it myself. Oh well!!

Anywayz, Girls was played on Norwegian radio and somebody recorded the stream.
This isnt a promo but a bootleg recorded from radio. Its not album quality, although its very good for a recorded radio stream sample. Memphis bells is an mp3 somebody made from the 1 min sample from a record shop that is selling the promos.

hmm. definitely different than their old stuff. the bass sounds very nu breaks, the lyrics and the beat are very electro. it definitely sounds more like a lot of their newer stuff than their old skool rave-y music, vaguely reminiscent of some of their previous songs, but definitely taking a new approach. personally i like the new sound, considering how i'm a big electroclash fan, and it seems to be drawing a good deal on that movement in EDM. however, i will say that i miss prodigy's old techno-punk feel, and i think this track could use some guitar samples and to be sped up a bit.

so basically what i'm saying is, i wanna remix it. anyone know how to get in touch with those kats?
