This is one sound that i've never really liked, but it has seem to have stuck around for a long while... when do you think it'll become overkill to have hoovers in hard house/nrg tracks???

where would Uk Hard House be without Hoovers!!!!!!!!!
:ohmygod: *jaw THUMPS to the floor*
how could you! my hoovers, my sweet sweet hoovers! they shall never be dismissed from ukhh/nrg tracks! i can't believe someone even suggested it. see this is the shit that happens when kids eat paint chips, it affects them waaaaay down the road!
but there's gotta be some way to tweek them more than they have been.... it's kinda the same 'ole same 'ole....
in my book, it ranks up there with 'lame movie sound bite' as best way to ruin a dope track.... just my 2-cents.

The hoover can be twisted so many ways, shame on those who do not filter them.
bless the hoover :mineo:

I like me some hoover. I always thought it had a percussive quality to it, without being percussion. Quick hoover stabs get me psyched. Having said that, it really is just a patch on a Roland keyboard. I only have a few tracks with hoovers, and they all seem to be by Baby Doc.

you cant have UK Hard House / NRG without hoovers... it just wouldnt be the same.
It would be like removing synth-strings from epic trance...
Or the piano out of Happy-Hardcore...
It would be like removing the drum or bass from drum n bass.
