Local DJ version of say something nice

Ok so I thought this would be a good thread back here- screw the plur, but lets big up some of our fellow djs. Who locally do you have some positive feedback for?

One thing I noticed when moving here from out west- is that no matter how the "scene" is currently doing- for the most part a vast majority of the local dj population are extremely supportive of one-another, and most of us are friends. This isnt always the case-in places where competing for gigs is a much bigger issue it seems there is a lot of bad mouthing and disrespect between jocks.

So- pick someone, you dont have to be a dj, but please keep this more technical and less emotional, and say something nice bout em.

anyone says negative shite gets edited- fair warning.

    I'll start-

Bioteknik- From when I first started working with this guy a few years ago I have watched him totally transform himself from a noob dj to a name many can recognize in this area. His skills are improving every week- so Chris- big up to you bro.

Joey Muniz- kid rocks mad turntablism with EDM.

Bobby Jae- some of the smoothest mixes in town- homie has more flavor than kool aid.

East Coast Boogiemen- Ken and Juan have done wonders for underground house. They have skills most djs only dream about?

Spiggy -- it took him 2 or 3 gigs to get there, but he's really taken this Cubik gig and made it his own.
Phil - Really diverse musical taste, but is always on point.
Tails - Probably has the most break-out potential of any dj on the board, superb taste in music and more technically adept than most local prog djs...
Zartan - Really, just for that one song he plays and the attic parties..
Mojo Jones - Great local producer--- OOOOH YEAH...
James - Sour Milk just owns me...
John C (Zion) - Another great local producer -- if he would just fucking finish a song...

    i probably missed somebody..

Wickity - A great guy, so I always looked forward to hearing him. When I did, he knocked me on my ass! I've never seen so many people battling for a spot on the floor during Alias and I'm getting hooked on his radio shows.

Cortex - One of the few non-DnB DJs who can make me dance ALL night!

Joey Muniz - The King of weekly residencies:wink: I don't make it out to hear him much, but I get to hear plenty while I'm attempting to nap:shady: Is there a genre that he doesn't do?

BobbyJae - I LOVE me some hard, dirty jungle, but you bring my genre into relaxing mode too. I am impressed again and again at home you can create an atmosphere that is laid back enough for people to sit back and chat but moves enough to get asses on the floor. Props!

Roman - House party extraordinaire! I'm waiting for the day you get a tad too overzealous and bounce your head off of the decks:wink:

Spiggy - You weren't my cup of tea, but you have won me over. I still blame you for missing Donald Glaude though. I just couldn't get out of the front room!

Jungle Jessie - When this lady is rocking the jungle, my knees go weak.

I'm know I'm forgetting people. Sorry. I haven't had enough caffiene yet.

Freddie Williams - His CD's are something that are in constant rotation at my home

Matt Sanborn - The guy is dedicated to the scene. In the past year I've witnessed him constantly trying to contribute to DC. On top of that, he's playing everywhere and continues even now to get booked, and that says something for his skills in itself.

Suneel - I didn't really take notice of him until I got his CD in the mail, and ever since, I've definitely become a supporter.

Matt Sanborn - One of the most dedicated people I've ever met to his art. It's always fun to watch and hear him spin.
Switchstance - The one who inspired me to spin breaks. He's got crazy skills, and he's got a great goofball thing going...
Adegen - I've always enjoyed listening to Travis' sets. I'm always picking up little tricks by watching him, and his production really show his commitment to quality.
Bioteknik - I've always really respected Chris, and used him kind of as my measuring stick. I've seen him rock a dance floor before, and I knew if I could do the same, I'd be doing alright. His straightforward honesty is something I really value.
Korben Dallas - New guy, but I like his spirit. He's always willing to jump in and try something new, and is always trying to improve.

Perhaps I've forgotten some, but I'll get them in... And thanks for everyone's kind words and support as well.
