I was kinda pissed that I never really got "the talk"..... things were always implied, but never said in my household... but sure enough I figured everything out.
Without having "the talk", you don't have the conversational piece of having a truely akward moment with you parents....

when i was growing up my parents had these highschool best friends, that live right next door, they had a daughter my age and we grew up together. she was my best friend, and between my dads extensive porn collection and her doll collection her and i played docter alot. i think i was five or six when her and i got down, as nasty as it sounds it was alot of feely touchy. so now the real question is "at what age do you tell your children of this bird and bee business"? i say start em' young i learned from hustler and playboy......dont let your kids turn out like me........
