DC 3/13: DâM-FunK (Stones Throw, LA) @ 411 NY Ave. Warehouse Loft

    TICKETS AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH DURKL.COM:
    http://shop.durkl.com/index.php?main...roducts_id=158

Special DJ/Live PA set by Dâm-Funk, his only appearance in the DC area! Get your body up!!

Dâm (that's pronounced 'Dame' as in Damon) has been throwing the legendary Funkmosphere parties in L.A. for years, attracting both the disco freaks and the curiously funky. Dâm's mind-blowing DJ sets are a truly unique modern soul experience. Not only does Mr. Funk serve up the most killer of tunes, you never know when he's gonna grab the mic (or maybe a keytar!) and take the party to the next level. In these last few years Dâm's synth funk vision caught the attention of Stones Throw Records. This partnership allowed for the release of many of Dâm's own productions, including 2009's critically acclaimed 5LP boogie monster TOEACHIZOWN.

Previously known as Los Angeles' Ambassador of Funk, Dâm is on his way to DC and ready to throw down! Do not miss out on this one, this will be Dâm's first time rocking a proper DC party. This will be PACKED, so grab your tickets early (from Durkl.com) and make your way down to 411 NY AVE NE DC. Remember, LOVE IS THE MESSAGE!

Before Dâm steps in the booth and takes us to the danger zone, we have Beautiful Swimmers (Future Times, DC) & Glenn Echo (Chris Burns, DC) getting your feet moving. Seriously warm and funky tunes ALL NIGHT LONG!!!

Ticket sales cut off at 7pm so make sure to go get yours at http://durkl.com

For those who forget to buy tickets or want to buy tickets at the door, we highly recommend early arrival. With all of the coverage this party has been getting, we expect to reach capacity tonight.
