Loda is about redefining definitions of who, where and what we are by creating an uplifting environment for lovers of electronic music and artistic environments. We strive to bring artists that have never played in DC in an effort to showcase our community, broaden our musical palette and understanding of the larger EDM landscape. The depth and breadth of quality electronic music right now is nothing short of incredible. Coupled with the explosion of digital arts and the rise of the creative class, there's no other time we'd rather be alive and doing what we do. now that we are about to enter year 2 of loda i've come up with a new flyer design and concept....
for the entire first year i focused almost exclusively on vector based flyers - now i am going to start incorporating some photography into the flyers while at the same time keeping the clean & crispy look of loda flyers constant by utilizing some of the shapes that i have used over the past year.

i'm going to swap out the photo on the front of the flyer each week with a different photo that is in one way or another related to the current month.
so for the next 3 months the photos will have to do with summer related subjects (pools, flowers, the sky, fields, trees, etc.)
i'm going to use mainly close up textures and cropped photos for this - i'm hoping to make the flyers a lot more fun and very colorful.
