whoa, an iPod for DJ's? That's pretty cool.
MINDPHUQ loves the ACID...
"# 60GB Harddrive-holds approximately 15,000 tracks in 128 Kbps AAC format"
Technical specifications clearly not written by a DJ.
128kbps jigga plz

Or for people that want to try DJing out before actually investing the extraordinary amount of money needed for a setup. You can get this full DJ setup for $500. What else can you get for $500?
- my-first-dj-kit that sucks, OR
- serato/traktor/etc., OR
- copy of ableton, OR
- half a DJ laptop, OR
- a CDJ200, OR
- a pair of technics, used, OR
- a mid-level mixer
I like it.
I don't see it being used seriously at a party (except maybe a last minute house party) but it might be handy for DJ's as a music player they can carry around and just experiment with stuff and figure out track selections for future gigs.
DONT buy the damn thing if you are serious about your DJing. Its a toy, and very hard to use. Played with one and its hard to get deep into a mixes. Too many button pushing combinations. Check out some of the reviews, almost all agree that is more of a novelty then a good piece of dj gear.
Trust me, when I first saw the thing I thought it was going to be the bees knees. Great concept, but not intuitive enough.
i like the music playin in the demo video
i am only interested in the freshmaker.
I thought Liam's post was going to be about how his phone can already do that. ;-)
