Hailing from Rochester, New York, Ewun has established himself in the international drum & bass scene with an impressive list of releases on some of the most prestigious labels in the industry, including, Lifted Music, Human Imprint Barcode, & Evol Intent Recordings. Since his first worldwide record release, his tunes have been destroying dancefloors all over the planet with an all- star lineup of DJ support from the biggest and most influential DJs in the scene.
His reputation has grown from his trademark blend of hip-hop, glitched breakbeats, twisted distortion, and a never-ending supply of sheer attitude. Attention to detail, dynamics, engineering, and dancefloor sensibilities have made his productions stand out from the masses and have gained him the respect of the global drum & bass community and beyond.
The past year has been a busy one for Ewun, complete with multiple North American tours and a European tour with label mates Evol Intent. The coming months are already shaping up to be even more ambitious. With a Lifted Music Australia/New Zealand tour in the works with Spor, as well as other touring plans, combined with his imminent and much-anticipated release schedule for the spring, things are shaping up to be yet another great success. 3 Blocks from City Hall, between Gay & Holliday Streets. The building is a non descript warehouse in the middle of the block, so look carefully.
DIRECTIONS From I-83:
Go south to its end. At the light turn right onto Fayette St. Follow to next right, Gay St, and turn right. From Gay St. take first left onto Saratoga St. Sonar is on your left in the middle of the block.
From I-95 (North or South):
From wherever you are coming from, take 95 in the appropriate direction to Baltimore. Exit onto 395 (if you are coming from points North, you will go through a tunnel before getting to 395). Follow straight to Baltimore St and turn right. Follow to Gay St, turn left. Follow Gay St to Saratoga St and turn left. Sonar is on your left in the middle of the block.
From East Baltimore
Take Lombard or Fayette St West. Turn right onto Gay St. Follow Gay St to Saratoga St and turn left. Sonar is on your left in the middle of the block.
From West Baltimore, Federal Hil, Mt Vernon
Take the appropriate street to either Pratt, Batimore or Lexington (all one way East). Turn left onto Gay St. Follow Gay St to Saratoga St and turn left. Sonar is on your left in the middle of the block.
