    ELECTRIC SOULSIDE are :

    Patrick Hoody & Steve Hoody

Influenced by artists from their childhood, such as Brian Eno, Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, Patrick and Steve dreamed that one day they also would create their own music. It was listening to acid house and mainly the title "T99" by Anastasia in the beginning of the nineties that they discovered electronic music. At this point they are hooked and that they decide to buy their first synthesizer. Through out the nineties they play regularly in underground organizations and free parties. During this period they obtained their influences in the various currents of the electronic music.

In 1999 they carry out several white labels with the simple aim of spicing their Dj set by their own productions.

In 2001 they were discovered by Dylan Rhymes and signed several singles on his label 'Blue Black records' in London, Supported by great names such as John Acquaviva, Meat Katie, Phil Kieran, John Digweed and many more. Their title "Inner Earth" was chosen by Max Graham on his famous compilation "Shine" released on American label "System Recordings" in 2004. Profoundly influenced by breakbeat that they discovered thanks to Dylan Rhymes, Meat Katie, Koma & Bones, Plump Dj'S, Soul of Man, Aquasky etc. Patrick and Steve apply themselves 100% to a style that was almost non-existent in their country.

At the beginning of 2006 they took part in a remix contest by Aquasky and Breaks Fm where they finish in second place on 250 with their remix that showed that they were able to preserver the style. Electric Soulside was born! Recruited thereafter by Rob Reng on his label "Ruff Dog Recordings," they sign the track 'Shining' which receives the support of artists from the four corners of the breakbeat/electro scene such as The Crystal Method, Aquasky,Elite forces, Sonny Wharton, SoTo, Ghetto Frequency and many more. "Shining" reached the top 15 on the stateside Balance Pool DJ chart. Thereafter they took part in their second contest organized by Elektrotribe records. Their remix of the track 'firewater' received First place this time. The Rights of this remix by the Franco-Canadian label "Break Bots" which asked Electric Soulside the honor to be their 1st release of the label. Their track "Digital Angel," released recently on Ruff Dog, is featured on the DMC World chart, and in many others. Currently their tracks are regularly played in clubs and on the radio all over the world.
