New Entrance for Buzz Patrons!

Hi All!

After a few LONG meetings with the club we have come up with a solution to make sure that you guys will not have to wait in line. We are opening a brand new entrance just for you! This line will NEVER be held unless the club is at capacity. And the goal will be to get everyone in as fast as humanly possible. Leading the door staff will be FurDoorGuy!

When you arrive at the club and are looking at the front door, there is an alley to the right of the club. Go down that alley and you will see another set of IDers and searchers. A QUICK patdown and you will be lead to the main room.

We will have people at the front of the club directing you to the secret door so don’t worry about getting confused.

This is for every Buzz patron, all night long. There will be a box office set up back there as well. The door price will be the same at both box offices, but I have a feeling the back one will always run a little smoother since they are letting us be in charge.

Coming from Charlotte and growing up in that scene (and even promoting myself) I am impressed by the professionalism that Buzz displays. You truely listen to your "customers" while catering to the needs of the venue as well. It can't be easy and I think I can say from all of us...

I agree. I'm glad we have our own entrance that actually functions like it should, but I think it's really fucking stupid that FUR management gave it to us so they could keep another line(s) for the rest of their patrons that they intentionally move slow as hell so that they appear to be "popular."

I don't really recall them opening late THAT often at Nation, and it was usually no more than 5-10 minutes. Jenn and I were usually there by 8:45pm every week, especially during the last few months. My memory may be wrong, though... :shrug:

I think it bothers people so much now because at FUR it happens EVERY week, and it's usually 15+ minutes. Not only that but they've already changed opening time from 9 to 10 to accommodate, yet they're still having problems. I'm sure it'll get worked out, just kinda sucks having to stand in the cold.



PS. Didn't I hear something awhile back about heaters on the patio during the colder months? :D

Nope, the pat down took 2 seconds, and she didn't go under my bra and fondle the ladies at all. I was very pleased that I didn't feel molested and ashamed walking in. I just wish I had known about the special smoking area for us, someone please show me on Wednesday!

I am strongly considering that shit despite the stuff that happened to my friends this week. It wasn't Buzz's fault persay, and I didn't mean it to sound like that in that one post. From the mind of a patron and potential patron though... you're gonna be hard-pressed to find people who have that sort of shit happen to them and just say "meh, it wasn't a promoter's fault"... see ya next week. Honestly, I've never had shit happen to me @ a Buzz event that wasn't brought on myself by myself... So I might come out. Genr8 is awesome, and there ain't shit else going on for me this weekend. I agree. I went to Buzz and Velvet for years and always got there early. They used to open on time every night. One night the front room dj didn't show up at Buzz and we had to wait 45 minutes and missed out on the free rail vodka! But that was not the norm.

I don't really recall them opening late THAT often at Nation, and it was usually no more than 5-10 minutes. Jenn and I were usually there by 8:45pm every week, especially during the last few months. My memory may be wrong, though... :shrug:

I think it bothers people so much now because at FUR it happens EVERY week, and it's usually 15+ minutes. Not only that but they've already changed opening time from 9 to 10 to accommodate, yet they're still having problems. I'm sure it'll get worked out, just kinda sucks having to stand in the cold.



PS. Didn't I hear something awhile back about heaters on the patio during the colder months? :D

Seriously though, I didn't see the steps at all but I suppose they aren't used to having patrons go through that way. Some yellow paint/tape to accent the steps would be nice because someone will eventually get hurt.
