cept for that damn quest and odissi tune that is girlie as fuck, but for some reason even she doesnt like ;)

i'll post a full review later, but honestly, jorge is one of the few djs in the dc area regardless of genre that can generally rock it the fuck out and have me listening, even if i don't always agree with the style of music.

no love for that mix? lol... i thought it was pretty good. mix very quickly into it and for a long time prob a good 2-3 minutes... through a breakdown even alll on the first try! that should get some kudos haha

Finally got a chance to listen to most of this mix

I def like some of your transitions/long mixes and I love the track selection

My only complaint is that you are playing WAY to fast for these tunes, esp in the beginning. I know you like to bang it out but build it up Rican and they will come! lol Its like Pictures is on 45 when it should be on 33. I like start off slower like 133 then climax at 138 or so, some tracks just don't sound good when pitched up so high.

Thats one of the hardest things to do when spinning tear out (usually in the higher 130s to 140s) and other breaks tempo'd in the lower 130's is that you gotta either speed one up to meet the other or slow the tear out down and to me tear out isnt meant to be slow... haha

but will def take the advice into consideration on the next one :)

I agree I used to play all my breaks at 137-142, cause they were produced that fast. But now even the producers I was playing years ago at that speed have slowed down. The fastest I can get is 134/135 at 0 Pitch for most new tunes even tear out.

Sucks everyone is slowing down, I'm not trying too though and I know you bang it out but I would just gradly pitch it up threw the mix. IMO

I agree on progressively accelerating the BPM throughout the set. I always start a mix slow & mellow (As mellow as DnB & Hard Dance can be) and build it harder and faster with a lil bit of an anthemic twist to top it off. Before you know it the beats are bangin' fast and your wearing holes on the soles of your shelltoes wondering how you came to be in the moment you are now in.
