We waited until you were done playing to get you hammered.
Which if you think about it, is probably why you got so damn hammered....howevermanythefuck drinks you got compressed into a 2 1/2 hour period.
Anyways, I'm not sure I'd describe minimal techno as "downtempo" but whatever. It'll rock, beeps, clicks and all. Oh, and I got a load of stuff off Oink right before it was shut down for this too ;)

Now Beyond? Are you introducing it to someone?
badkitty3804
2007-10-31, 12:56 PM
That too.
Or was possibly slightly dented while taking out the lamp, or as I was told, smashing my head into a table.

Neither the table nor you looked too upset afterwards. I can't vouch for the lamp.

Pretty damn drunk is a subset of Sean Drunk™.
Sean Drunk™ usually involves me falling down concrete stairs, taking a couple of other people out along with me and getting a concussion. Hence the fact that I don't get Sean Drunk™ anymore.
Come to think of it, Sean Drunk™ is pretty damn close to being Emily Drunk™.

(Yawn)
I actually stayed up last night making all my CD labels. I woke up this morning and my computer was STILL downloading all the shit I bought this weekend.
FYI, Beatport's new download utility rocks out. It lists everything about the track (label, release date, release name, catalog #, track length, etc.)
amitai
2007-11-05, 10:49 AM
it's been a long time since I used beatport. I really really hate their web site. I remember hitting "back" accidentally and fucking everything up. aaaaaah.
whatever!
stormryder
2007-11-05, 11:17 AM
Version 3.0 of their website is pretty tight (it's all in Flash). You can go off on tangents real easily, yet get back to what you were doing just by clicking the forward/back buttons in the Flash site. Clicking the browser back and forward buttons isn't recommended.
I use Beatport, Juno and about 4 other websites normally. I'd easily say that Beatport and Juno have everybody else beat for quality of their releases though.
amitai
2007-11-05, 12:55 PM
I don't like that it's all flash though...

Isn't iTunes all flash for the most part?
amitai
2007-11-05, 01:36 PM
Is it? Even if it is, with itunes there is at least a way to direct link to something (I think). AFAIK there is no way to link to a specific track in Beatport... but I might be wrong.
stormryder
2007-11-05, 02:18 PM
You can link to tracks on Beatport. I know quite a few artists that embed the interface on their MySpace pages leading directly to their songs, etc.
amitai
2007-11-05, 03:51 PM
ok, so say I want to send you to the page for "Hunter" by Martin Buttrich. How do I do that?
stormryder
2007-11-05, 04:39 PM
Click on "email" link at the bottom of the release, enter the email addresses and shoot. Linking on a web page is a little more complex because you have to link to the label, not the specific release. So linking older tracks can be a pain in the ass.
They're fixing that with 4.0 BTW.
amitai
2007-11-05, 05:40 PM
Linking on a web page is a little more complex because you have to link to the label, not the specific release.
see that's weak.
I still use beatport I just hate the interface. that is just one example.
stormryder
2007-11-06, 02:09 AM
Ahh....easy enough:
Link:
https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/content/release/detail/79594
Just substitute the release # for whatever you want to point to on Beatport and it takes you straight there.

2007-11-06, 02:55 AM
