Looks like its a monster. I think its finally time purchase this beast. Initial reports on the cubase forum shows they finalyl fixed all the major bugs, its now fast and rock stable. plus finally all the features they promised are here. woot.

me too. 4.0 looked like a disaster. i think with this release might be time to upgrade finally.

my only gripe is that the sidechain is only for VST3 plugs....Im assuming to sidechain older plugs, I will still have to set up and route Quadro channels and Child Busses (which is fucking tedious)

im confused on how vst3 works. apparently it doesnt support .fxp's and .fxbs. does this mean i cant load any of my old patches anymore? if thats true. thats a huge deal breaker.

i think read somewhat that peole would load up their patches and take screenshots of them so they can reproduce the patches in the new cubase. man that would blow.
