brother,
youve got an 'official' sound with that synth run
[i'd take it as a sample if you wanna give it up]
but you need more blast off,
you know what i mean.

Thanks, I honestly can't take toooooo much credit. The arp/synth loop was a sample that I tweaked a bit. Are you asking if you can remix it?

i gotta be honest here: weaksauce.

i can tell the whole song is just Vengeance Bank loops. which btw, are stolen from different songs. if you're going to use loops, make them so you cant tell. chop em up, make them your own. otherwise, why not take any song and just rip the beat? this is just too obvious Vengeance bank.

...Are you asking if you can remix it?

send me that loop if you can easily, & are down to..
i'd like to fuck around real quick with it, maybe a bassline & some
huge blastoff action..

Weaksauce is exactly right. I actually made it after I got some new VST's and just wanted to put a quick track together. People seemed to dig it so I didn't worry about going back and changing it.

However, all of the things that you have expressed are the #1 reason why I have not released it. I refuse to sell a track that generic because anyone can throw a bunch of loops together and call themselves a producer, and that is not how I roll.

:mj2: <---- but this is. Except I can pay my rent on time.

All of the vengeance banks are money, whether for loops or one hits.

And LJ, I don't think your tune is weaksauce. I think it's weaksauce if you're comparing it to top producers out there, but it still sounds like a decent tune to me. If I heard it on Beatport I wouldn't think twice. And also, only us producers are going to recognize where the loops come from too... speaking of which, I also have used Loop #4 in the Vengeance House 2 bank ;-)

Loops are useful tho. Try chopping up a loop, and have it play off a chop of a different loop. Layer a bunch of your own one-hit perc patterns over it, and BLAM - you've got a professional sounding, yet original loop.

No it wasn't. I won't reveal all my secrets but I used some Native Instruments VSTs, one hits, chopped and pitch shifted an arp, etc.

;)

Thanks for the constructive criticisms fellas!
