Just bought tickets to this - posting because Beethoven's symphonies are by far the most beautiful pieces of music ever written and performances of any of them other than the ninth are exceedingly rare (the 9th is coming up at the KC too, just like every year). The fifth symphony is completely gorgeous, anyone who has any taste in music should be planning their buzz pre-game for 11/2 to be this event.
