I hope this is in the club. The lounge has been seeing too much dnb action, and there's not enough bass in there. So it's more like just drums.

I have never seen a line like I saw tonight, I hope that parlayed into a good turnout lounge-side. Anyways, I'm a faker, but I'll be waiting for the next banging clubside night.

I had a feeling I'd find something about my set. Things were going great until three sound guys came in and started banging around. Mind you the right turntable only had three legs and was positioned on a slant. That will cause for some balance issues. In all fairness they were only attempting to add more sound but whatever they did made the right turntable even worse. I changed out needles, adjusted the legs (they eventually found a fourth) and tried to move speakers but the needles skipped every time the bass hit. What can you do? As usual I'm happy to have played but don't get it twisted I don't really clang mixes like that. I guess I should keep some CDs handy for just such an emergency. I'll go ahead an chalk last night up as the most frustrating DJ experience I've had to date.

Cannon Boyz killed it. Teebee and Calyx killed it. If you ventured over to the main room I think you would agree XXXchange and Devlin & Darko did some damage as well.

don't worry about it dude. that's what sucks about playing early, especially at big events when they're constantly upgrading the sound until the headliner comes on. anyone that knows the deal, knows it wasn't your fault. and if they don't know the deal, fuck em.
