instead of taking a shot in the dark and picking a random name off the list just wondering if neone has neone they would recommend

The office is only a few blocks away from the metro - when I was preggers, I used to walk there all the time from the metro station.

My mother uses a guy (I've been to him before, he's great) and I used a woman (can't remember her name, it's written down at home on the birth certificate I kept) who was also very good.

Fairfax OBGYN has a woodbridge office off of the road the mall is on (forget the name... right after Dale Blvd, though). I use a lady named Gail... she's really good... but everyone there has been super nice.

The Women's Health Center in Vienna is where I go. It's only women. I know at one point they were open Saturday and they do accept your insurance. I've seen a few people there and they're all great. The metro is a limiting factor though, because they are right on the edge of tysons.

I'm picky about who shoves metal rods up my hoo-hah, and my usual doctor is all the way in Severn. :crying2:

I really prefer the female doctors though, a lot less 'mechanical' about the whole experience.
