Adobe Audition help - can't playback in multitrack view

I am running Adobe Audition 1.5 on Windows XP. When I am in "edit" view (single track open in its window) I can play back fine. When I am in "multitrack" view, no matter how many tracks I have running, it won't play back. I hit the "play" button and it does nothing. It's not like I see it moving with no audio, just nothing happens at all.

I am guessing it means there's a setting for multitrack playback where you tell it what device to use, but I can't find such a setting.

If you help me then I will give you a sneak peek at my MIMS "This Is Why I'm Hot" Dubstep mashup, which I will be able to do with Audition once I get it working. :cheer:

i've used it, but only for recording sets from my tables. never tried multi-track manipulation or anything of the sort with it.

Audition did not add ASIO support until version 2.0. I'll bet that has something to do with your problem.

I don't have any version of Audition though so I don't know for *real*.
