My eye lashed are falling out! I was in the shower last night washing my face and when I was done I looked at my eyes in the mirror we have in there, and I lost like 10 eyelashes. They were everywhere! Dying... running away from my eye lids. When I got in bed, Ben pulled like 3 more off my face.

I'm not wearing mascara today. I hope that's all it is... I'm going going to wear mascara to work anymore. :sadpanda:

If this continues, check your eye makeup. Throw away anything and replace that may be over 3 or 4 months old. If it still continues, make sure you're not allergic to anything you're wearing.

For example, with me, AVON liquid liner makes my eyelashes fall out in clumps, regardless of how new it is.

I've been using that lash exact stuff. I admit, it feels a little harsh, and it's more than 6 weeks old now. (Probably more like 8 or 10) and definitely a bit dryer. I imagine the water proof stuff is ever nastier.

I want that lash grower stuff, but it's like $150. :badkitty:

I only wear makeup when I have to. Which is pretty much never. But damn I hope the break in mascara will stop that from happening.

I wear makeup every day. It's the mineral makeup, so it actually seems to help my skin stay clear by drawing the excess oil away from it. I can go without mascara (obviously) but I don't like to because my eyes are so small. I look superasian today.

almondy shaped eyes are hot. I have 'em but my eyes are big as hell. and i have curly lashes so...i'll give you some of mine. :ponder:

I've suffered from that since I was little as well. And not just with my eyelashes :sadpanda:

I'm pretty paranoid about not having eyelashes, It's up there with getting my teeth knocked out, cept you can't glue fake teeth back on to go out.

I think this weekend I'll just glue fake ones on for festivites and forego the mascara for as long as possible. Then I'll switch to one that has a primer. (those work, right?)

im so glad that someone else fessed up. i too have had that problem since i was a kid and only recently ive stopped.

its a nervous habit and not a good one.

my eyelashes thin out when I use mascara every day. when I cut down to just the weekends and for special occasions, they started to grow back in.
