So, seeing Amanda's post in +/- about how she wants to do her hair for her wedding got me thinking - I could use recommendations for stylists to do my hair/my bridesmaids hair for my wedding... Any of you have recommendations on who/where to get your hair done all fancy like? Have any of you hired someone to come to where you were? How much does that cost (ballpark)?
I'm going to be staying at my parents house in Falls Church/Annendale the night before & ceremony/reception is downtown just North of the White House - so I could use suggestions for that area - but share what you've got in case anyone else is looking in other areas. (I'm willing to travel some, but since the ceremony is going to be 6 pm downtown on a Friday - I'd like to avoid traveling to MD or *too* far cause of the traffic potential)
Thanks!

I can't give you any recommendations for that area, but when I was planning my "big" wedding, I looked into having a stylist and cosmetologist come to my house. The prices were the same as they would have been in the shop, but there was a $300 minimum. If you and all of your bridesmaids are having your hair and/or makeup professionally done, you should hit that $300 mark with no problem. Obviously that's only the policy of one salon, but it's figure to start with.

 Awesome - that's good to know. There will be 4 of us (me + 3 BMs) all getting hair & possibly make up (I'm definately getting make up done, not sure if the other girls are going to want to/if I'm going to treat them/what yet) - so yeah, we could probably get up to $300 pretty easy...
