for example.
I've practiced martial arts and I love fighting in the ring. :) I had been practicing for six years.
Although.. I quit a year ago. And I'm in no shape to go back.. so I'm running out of ideas to keep me occupied when I'm not at work. I need to find something fun and exciting to do again. So let me know!

I invented this game called "the icarus game". it's easy! when ever you are in motion, be it in a car, on a bike, snowboarding, what have you, simply find an immobile object that would cause catastrophic damage if contacted and see how close you can get to it at top speed with out hitting it.

My sister and I are definitely doing it once it cools off a bit. Other ladies that used to ride should come along. :D

camping or day hikes, i would say is very mild on the extreme meter.

backpacking into the wilderness, whole other animal..


i'm getting into some caving. its pretty extreme, and very high endurance. and incredibly awesome.

climbing is also good. if you need more extreme, try ice climbing.

downhill mountain biking is good for a thrill.

so is white water kayaking..


if that doesn't work, try bungee jumping or skydiving. i think learning to skysurf would be the most awesome thing i could ever learn to do...

i've also always wanted to try zorbing.

i don't know if your in Md or Va. but the Appalachian mountains are full of caves...

i live in south texas, the entire area lays on a bed of limestone that has been slowly cracking and melting away over the last few million years. there are so many caves out here its truely awesome.

i think more the mid atlantic area, the best outdoor "extreme" sport to get into would be whitewater kayaking. there are very many places on the are that make it accessible as a day or weekend trip.

I heard the Cheat river is really tough. I haven't been on it myself though. I've been several times on the yough, which is in PA. plus the park up there is really cool. I love visiting there. I wish I had friends who were inclied to go camping cause I'd really like to do that when it cools off, like in september/october.

I do agressive inline. It's quite a rush if you're an adrenaline junkie. And most guys jump at the chance to teach chicks how to skate, cause not many do. Just make sure you get decent skates.

Also, indoor rock gyms are awesome. The sport rock ones in the area are pretty good.
