This Party's Purpose...
Every Full Moon Party has a purpose and the purpose of the July party is to raise money for the Ayui Foundation in Chiang Rai, Thailand – a home for teenagers who are unwanted or have little or no means of support. The Ayui Foundation provides a safe home, love and access to education, helping these teenagers to become confident young adults.
Ayui Foundation is currently seeking individuals to sponsor the education of ten children in their care – all of whom have been abandoned, orphaned or whose parents are simply too poor to care for them. Giving these kids a proper education is their best chance for a positive and productive future. Becoming a sponsor is a rewarding experience – if you would like to learn more about the children at Ayui Foundation or how to become a sponsor please contact Victoria McColm.

CONDUCTOR
Tec-Phonix | Last Resort Productions
www.myspace.com/conductorlive
This Spy Lounge resident has been pushing the envelope of sound for over 10 years. His blend of Techno is always spiked with an east coast flavor that you won’t want to miss. Watch for his live album out this fall on Tec-Phonix recordings.
D_UNDERGROUND
www.myspace.com/53912006
D_Underground aka Chato was born in Peru and raised in DC. With a style that ranges from soulful to underground house he has been heavily influenced by house music legends Kerri Chandler, Louie Vega, and Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez. Osunlade has continued to be another strong inspiration in his life. With a spirit that can’t be matched elsewhere, step onto the dance floor and experience a house sound like no other when D_Underground performs.
MATTNETIC
Mattnetic, aka Matthew McConnell spent his formative years in Fayetteville, North Carolina stirring up trouble with his big bro Dan (Conductor) at local clubs. Originally influenced by Florida breaks, garage and progressive house – deep house became his passion – and now his sets run the gamut of electronic music, with tech house, tribal house and techno all rolled flawlessly into one. In the last year, Mattnetic has become a regular to DC nightlife – burning up the floor at smaller venues frequented by people in the know – most recently opening for the likes of Jeroen Liebregts, Patrick Skoog and Derek Plaslaiko.
MAXWELL EDISON
www.maxwelledison.com
Maxwell Edison thought he could retire. After five years at Dust Traxx in Chicago, and over ten years worshipping the one's and two's, he thought it time to do something sensible…like pursue a legal career. When he's not studying his ass off or trying to convert unwitting passersby to his personal philosophies, he still finds time to drop a few hot tracks. Straight off the Chinatown bus from Brooklyn, Maxwell's sometimes quirky, always funky selection of tech-house, electro and lesser-known gems betrays his background in the grimy Chicago scene while offering up a rare glimpse into New York's current underground sound.
MEASAX
www.STIRSOUND.COM
Measax Wellman began djing in early 2004 and right before graduating with a degree in philosophy he took on a resident spot at club R2 in Charlottesville, Virginia alongside long time friend Brian Boyd. His djing style was influenced by a love for obscure art and music, which eventually filtering down to minimalism. Since then he has made several moves throughout the state and has helped cultivate a small avant-garde group of minimal freaks. With house mates Jeffrey S. and Clinc, he currently helps run a weekly event in Fredericksburg, Virginia focused on minimal techno and micro house. His production style developed from a childhood obsession with recorders and keyboards and much of it comes from samples he has recorded and collected himself. His sound is influenced by a very eclectic taste in music including bebop jazz, dub reggae, punk rock, underground disco, and early chicago house. Currently, Max has a very fresh release on the Stir Sound netlabel, Avocado Nuts. He has been working tirelessly lately, in the studio and out, so be ready to hear something special.
MR. RUBENS
www.technohumanity.nl
A recent transplant from Holland, Mr. Rubens’ sound is a refreshing break from those that dominate the DC club scene. After making his DC debut at Mixed Signals, he has continued to grace the DC techno scene with his unique djing style. He is inspired by seminal artists such as Leftfield, Jeff Mills, and Steve Rachmad, he creates a seamless blend of minimal, funky, and Detroit techno. Having played a laundry list of European hot spots, to include the thriving Techno Humanity parties in the Netherlands, Mr. Rubens is poised to make a similar splash in DC.
PAUL GARZA
www.myspace.com/clubdjpaulgarza
Dj Paul Garza has been djing Clubs and bars in the DC area for over 10 years and is definitely not your average Top-40 dj. Known for his exceptional track selection, Mr. Garza, blends all the latest hits with sprinkles of ol'skool and some of the sickest remixes and mash-ups you've heard.

QUEEN V
www.myspace.com/vicmccolm
Its no secret that Queen V (Victoria McColm) grew up listening to country music in rural Florida and has been to three Lynard Skynard concerts – but this was all before she landed in London and was introduced to electronic music after renting a room in the home an up and coming DJ six years ago. Two years in London and stays in Brazil, Africa and Asia kept her mind open and her taste broad. Her knack for spotting great tunes and her strictly open, good times, music policy promises to endear and delight. She is influenced by Rob da Bank, DJ Patife, Gilles Peterson, Norman Jay and Duncan Turner (Sombrero Soundsystem). Her passion for using music to bring people together will be on full display, as she showcases some of her fave Brazilian and inspired by Brasil tracks.
RICARDO SANTAMARIA

His constant exposure to music welcomed all forms of groundbreaking sounds, and at 12, his aunt's cassette tapes from the infamous D.C. club, The Pier was unveiled. Thereafter, he instantly embraced the beginning of disco and electronica from the fresh sounds of Tom Moulton, Salsoul, Kraftwork, Gorgio Moroder, etc. The fusion of his latin background and dance music influenced him to begin collecting vinyl at 14. He took almost a decade worth of experience and moved to New York. Ricardo partnered up with a reggae/R&B artist Jeffrey Spence in production. Since then, Ricardo has moved back to D.C. and is currently working in the studio. He soon plans to release his single "Steady or Not" on his Solo Muzika label.
