7/22 New Party in Bmore! Sundays @ Ground Zero| Starts this Sunday after artscape

For the past 4 years, "Delivery" thrown by 2Charming Crew, has been a staple in the Baltimore scene. It was my first DJ gig, and many others' as well. Always an intimate night, Delivery played into many people's memories.

The night became very hit or miss after an electrical fire shut down the venue for over six months. Last week, the venue owner decided (without giving knowledge to anyone involved with Delivery) that they would start hosting a new night on Sundays. I offered our space since the djs were already in town, and we had Delivery at our warehouse last weekend. During the night we entertained the idea of moving the Sunday Bmore party to new digs, Ground Zero, and keep it weekly. All parties agreed that this was a great idea, and thus:

SUNDAYS AT GROUND ZERO
Every Sunday we will feature an eclectic mix of DJ's, Art, and Performance. The focus is on socializing and creating. There will be projects, themes, speakers, seminars, and much more in the early hours, and party with the DJ's until everyone leaves! We think it's a great concept, and we know you will too. In fact, it's all about participation and interaction. This will not be an all out rave, although we don't object to that. We will start with something simple and allow it to progress from there. It's all up to you guys how each night works out.

This Sunday, July 22nd 2007:
$5 Cover for expenses/supplies
BYOB FTW!
We will be having a meeting at 6PM open to all, to discuss the future.
Music will start around 8pm, and go until everyone leaves.
Remember, Artscape is all day, so we're expecting people coming from that. We have plenty of couches so you can all relax.

So glad everyone is on about this [god news approved]. Had to do something since our sunday nights got all fubar'd at the lounge.

We aren't doing much in the way of rearranging the place, we know most of the heads that will be showing [read: HIGH trust factor].

There will be dancing under the tent, as it is all set up in prep for Camp Out. Just watch out for the odd lines screwed into the walls holding it up.
The first person to choke themselves out on a line will get their pic up on the boards.

Like Josh said BYOB FTW tho I like the idea of a house sangria. The beer/booze fridge will be out in the veranda [elevator room] garbage cans will be about for your junk.

We all want to see this go well, most of you know we live here.

Couldn't have asked for a better night last night. Nice seeing the elusive Chef! Some old friends came by. Ended up at a bonfire in Ridgley's delight around 4am.
