havent been to the lounge in a bit. i know pretty much everyone there. im sure ironman is still dj'in. need to make it back out there. eh, been slackin. just outside on the black top dancin straight ug style. no mirrors, no wood floor. just black top and headphones.

club dancers? just usually some bamas jumpin around doin the same blah to club music. except for a few of the main cats there that show up consistently. best bboy to club music is decipticon. he rocks that shit hard. hasnt been playin alot of hip hop there lately. or more than less likely, he plays it later, but i only stay until about 12, 1215. gotta work. i know he was rockin alot of house and funk a few weeks ago, for a few weeks before that.

Aw, I miss dancing. Maybe at Firecracker I'll get over being shy. I used to dance all the time at Nation before I became self-conscious about it. :)

I loved watching the main room at Nation, it was like a lot of small parts of a much larger organism. Watching Doh, Chico, Wyatt, Dalton, etc is cool because they do a lot of unique things, but I also love watching regular ol clumsy and amateurish people jump around and have fun, it makes me happy.

A lot of random kids.
I remember seeing a really sick tut/lock guy in a
mask n' gloves at starscape a couple years back in the buzz
tent during green velvet. He was intensely good.
Then I saw two kids with the same kinda mask/gloves
combo at nation for the last halloween party, I was like "oh
shit its that guy, and he's got a buddy!". So I stood
around for five minutes waiting for them to dance,
then they did. Shitty, not nearly the same calibre.
I think it should be a rule that wearing a mask/gloves
entails a certain level of dancing so i don't get caught
watching the same folks : )

I don't think i have faves, but i like to watch a lot.

I miss Mike too!!!. :( Rob is increidible also...very fluid movements - I love to just stand and wach that guy! Jen & whyatt of course cuz they can whip out some dance moves. oh...and my girl? RED. :) (AKA: Sammy) <--sheesh just too darn cute! Michelle has also been known to wow my sox now and then, when she used to jump in the circles. ;) I love Dancing with Dalton too. That crazy guy can MooOve!
You know, it isn't so much to me the headspins as it is the fluidity and the inspiration of new moves on the dancefloor and how well it is in the vibe of the music IMO. Some dancers seem to think that every song is exactly the same so you should move EXACTLY the same...I don't call that skill. I call that memory of some dance steps. :D
