I actually asked him to put us on early since this is 1.5 hours from my house and on a sunday night. Gots to head back early to make it to work on time monday.

We are currently fixing our promoting problems for this week. A new Flyer will be put out soon. Do not get discouraged over all this. This is a fresh party and anyone who hates on it hates on themselves especially djs and producers. I heard through the grapevine that there was some tension about billing on the original flyer that was posted here. Just to let the concerned parties know, it was posted WITHOUT first being approved by the event organizer. As soon as I saw the flyer, I pointed out SEVERAL things that needed to be changed, and before it could be addressed, it was posted here and started to receive criticism. I was led to believe that the flyer artist no longer wanted to work on the project, so I made a new one...

I felt the need to create an account here on the buzz board just to address this because Proxxy and Lantern both need to know that we love them, and that there was no disrespect intended. I had a blast meeting them when we spun with DJ Icey at Sonar April 6th. This was a communication breakdown and a rogue post.

There exists a venue with a great sound system where breaks prevail on Sundays, and in an attempt to let everyone know about that, I've helped these guys bring in some prominent DJ's all on the same night. In order to do that, Anton Chasm REQUESTED his slot midnight to 1am, and Lantern REQUESTED that he and Proxxy play from 10pm to 11pm. Those two requests were honored before the rest of the lineup was set.

Hopefully this clairifies some of the legitimate concerns expressed here. With that out of the way, I invite you to look over the lineup again, and decide whether it's a party you'd like to come to. We hope to see lots of you there. I always have fun chillin at this party even when it's just a bunch of DJ's hanging out, tossing a few back, joking around, and comparing tracks.

I guess that's about it for my first post. In another thread, some people were asking who I am... I know it seems like I came out of nowhere, but that's because I changed my DJ name to "Leko" about a year ago. Feel free to look me up, I'm all about networking and I heard a lot of great things about this forum from Scott Henry and his crew when I spun with him and Donald Glaude last weekend at Sonar.
