Every Wednesday night, Mosaic brings you <a href="http://www.myspace.com/refresh_wednesdays"><b>re:fresh.</b></a>

The purpose of this event is to get you over that nasty mid-week funk, and to prepare you for the weekend by bringing you the freshest DJs this region has to offer.
Join <a href="http://www.myspace.com/dj_logo">me, your resident DJ</a> and groove to the sounds of the hottest up-and-comers and top-notch local favorites, all in a gorgeous world-class venue.

The new venue—a beautiful indoor lounge/club setting with an outdoor garden—sports a soundsystem inside that is a full EAW flown rig (8 speakers), with 4 bass bins, and 10 fill in speakers around the perimeter of the room. Outside there are Bose outdoor speakers and Mackie self powered subs.

Yo Jim & Nicole, I sent you e-mails pertaining to the music at <b>re:fresh</b> a few weeks ago.
I don't want to burst your bubbles, but playing dark and heavy at this venue just doesn't fly.

Please let me reiterate once more:

<b>Mosaic is not a rave club.</b>

It attracts a different, slightly older crowd than Nation used to or FIVE does.
While we don't want to stifle our guest DJs' creativity, we need to make sure that they keep our clientele in mind, and that they pay particular attention to what's happening on the dance floor.

If there are 20 people in the club, we can't have our guest DJs playing hard stuff like they would to a rave club filled to capacity.

We need our guest DJs to be as versatile as possible with their music selections, so that they can play to whatever crowd they may encounter during their sets.

Jim & Nicole, I know you guys have genres that you favor over others, but I also know that both of you have a very nice, wide variety of music in your libraries.
Please come prepared with a little bit of everything.

Now, if we end up with 100+ heads in there, and they're all feeling the music, then yes, feel free to bring the energy up a few notches.

But please, <b>NO hard, evil, scary Breaks.</b>
