Guestlist the Process:
The way to skip the line is to find the person in front with the clipboard. they have our guest list. Ask them for the "Snatch" guest list.
they'll give you a ticket for admission and instead of standing in the line on the right (closest to the building) you can move to the much shorter line on the left.

I think you guys just got hit with a bit of bad luck with your arrival time... they tend to shut the door down altogether shortly before 11PM, so if you're interested in open bar, your best bet is to arrive at least a little before 10:30--and probably closer to 10... Sorry I couldn't help you guys any more than I did...
