While it's not my party... I thought I'd post this here. Come check this night out. The Nuvo crew always throws down proper and the space is just swank as all get up!

I was thinking about it but that would be three weeks in a row. I think I need to mix it up a little more.

Oh la laaaa. I wanted to check this place out and that sweet ass lineup just seals the deal. I'll try to make it out Saturday.
we got a clarification on the bottle service deal, for those who like that sort of thing.
to reserve a table for you and up to 5 of your peeps all you have to do is buy a bottle, and bottles start at $160 (for Absolut). since the $10 cover is waved, if there's 6 of you and you love your Absolut, you're basically paying just $17 each (for the mathematically challenged that's $160- the 6 x$10 cover = 100/6) for the bottle and the privilege of sitting on one of the comfy leather couches pictured above (that's the sky lounge, which is a bit more pricey, but seats 10...but hopefully you get the picture)... BARGAIN!!
you can reserve a table in advance by calling Ricardo at 202-255-8727, or just make 4 new friends on Saturday night and get a table with them, if there are any still available. but, the only way to be sure is to call ahead.
there are 5 tables downstairs right on the dancefloor, with great views of the cube dancers (again, see picture above)...

Definitely underrated and deserving of much more respect than they have, those guys play big sets everytime they take to the floor.

I'd love to see some 2Tribes.
I might go to this, yay!
WHAT IS HAPPENING THERE TONIGHT? FRIDAY CAN
friday nights are latin/world music...music's probably similar to cafe citron, if youre familiar with that
BTW, on a completely different note, if you click on the eden experience link in spiggy's first post (or just go to the site), you can see a cool video montage of pasha on 12/23 featuring footage of the funkyhouse crew, among others...
and if you're not into Latin music (i.e. you're not a mexican living on corn tortillas and Pacifico), you could always come see the one like the Deke tonight...

this place is right where Mr. P's used to be... if you're coming down P St from the circle... it's about half a block past Japone on the right (granted that's one LONG block)

Is there a dress code?
I don't dance in fancy shoes very well. Sounds like a good line up tho.
sigh... am I the only one for whom this same question is growing increasingly tired and lame?

you can get into 99% of the bars in DC with those shoes, a pair of jeans, and a t-shirt... seriously, grow up... you're not 12 any more...

In many cases those shoes won't get you into a club in DC. Perhaps the clubs you go to but not all as many have a no sneaker rules. Or they don't have a rule and the door man will just laugh and shoo you away.
One of the first things I ask about a club I haven't been to before is "whats the dress?" Not because I can't meet it but I don't want to over or under dressed for the room. It's a simple question. What's stupid is people not understanding the code and asking about every single t-shirt, pair of pants, or shoes they happen to have in their closet.

perhaps they would be more comfortable in these...

sorry, mate, but I have to tell you, you're wrong... they may say "no sneakers" but what they really mean is no white running/basketball shoes... I've been to pretty much every bar/club in this town at least once and never had a problem with dark shoes so long as they were semi-stylish...

This applies for girls too. I've gotten in clubs wearing comfy sneakerish shoes that were black before. Long as it's not too sporty I think you'll be ok. Think standard business casual footwear.

I've got a pair of Steve Maddens that are sneakerish and rule... they're all black and comfortable as hell and I've never once gotten grief about them...
