DONALD GLAUDE

A veteran DJ for over 15 years, Donald Glaude has cemented his reputation as a crowd-rocking favorite and one of the most in demand artists in the country. He is one of those rare DJs who perceives their role to be that of an all-around entertainer and performer. He exudes energy, dropping track after funky track, arms aloft, and has been known to join the dancers on the floor. It is the combination of these ingredients that have helped him create a unique connection with his audience.

Donald wants to show his appreciation to all the DC fans by giving away 200 copies to the first 200 people of a special 2007 CD mixed specifically for this event.

Donald Glaude plays DC all the fucking time, I don't mind that he does, he's an awesome dj, but the dj's that are playing in Bmore on Friday night don't come around here half as much as Donald.

it sucks I can't make this, I know Donald and I'm sure Mike Melo will be there with him hanging out but Glaude def comes here more than *once in awhile*

Great track selection, though, and lots of energy, regardles...

Maybe an issue with playing on the actual dance floor instead of the booth? Was he using a monitor?

Im not deaf but im not as knowledgable as all you folks but yes I even noticed it too twice. A few of my DJ friends saw me wince. But the energy was AMAZING and I loved the track selection.. I danced my ass off.. And I still <3 Donald Glaude

I played right before Donald and it was a real struggle. The top corner floor speakers were overpowering the monitor that were set pretty far away. If you thought the mix was on it was off, it was actually on, and vice versa. We were also contending with some really weird feedback from the subs we were standing on. I figured out early on to use the headphones. Glaude mentioned to me after the show he could not hear anything and his headphones were frizzy. The booth was supposed to be set up like this tonight for Kerri Chandler but they decided to set it up early for Glaude. :( Oh well I think it was a pretty good night regardless

Out of all the DJs I've heard in my life, that was honestly the best set ever.

The vibe when he was playing was unbelievable. He captured the crowd. He looked like a superstar up there, just watching him was amazing. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, IT DID. He just kept it comming track after track. I wanna see more of Mr. Perkins real soon.
